Cabbage 'n Kraut

1 Onion; sliced
2 tb Butter
1 cn (16-oz) sauerkraut
1/2 Head cabbage
1 Apple; cored and sliced
1/2 ts Salt
1 ts Caraway seeds
1 Beef bouillon cube

Fry onion in butter. Add sauerkraut, thinly sliced cabbage, apple, salt
and caraway seed. Dissolve bouillon cube in hot water and pour over kraut
mixture. Simmer uncovered about 20 minutes
