H And H Baked Macaroni And Cheese

Ingredients and directions for this recipe
1 tb Butter
3 c Milk
1 tb All purpose flour
1 ts Salt
1 ds Pepper
1 ds Cayenne
2 c Shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 lb Elbows cooked and drained
1/2 c Canned tomatoes drain & chop
1 ts Sugar
For those of you who asked here is a repost of Horn and Hardart's Macaroni
and Cheese
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter - whisk in flour, then add milk,
salt, and pepper and cayenne. Stir till thick and smooth, 8 to 10 min. Add
cheese and cook until it melts. Remove from heat. In mixing bowl combine
macaroni and sauce. Stir in tomatoes and sugar. Put in baking dish. Bake
till brown 30-40 minutes.
