3/4 c Soft margarine
1 c Brown sugar
1 Egg
1/4 c Molasses
2 1/4 c Flour
2 ts Soda
1/4 ts Salt
1/2 ts Cloves
1 ts Cinnamon
1 ts Ginger
Granulated sugar

Can't remember where I got this one - Betty Crocker Cookie Book, maybe?
Cream sugar and margarine, add egg, molasses, then dry ingredients. Form
into 1" balls. Dip in sugar, then bake on greased cookie sheet for 12
minutes at
375 degrees.
