Molasses Crinkles

Yield: 3 servings

Ingredients and directions for this recipe

3/4 c Soft shortening 2 1/4 c Flour
1 c Brown sugar 2 ts Soda
1 Egg 1/2 ts Cloves
1/4 c Molasses 1 ts Cinnamon

Mix thoroughly shortening, sugar, egg and molasses. Sift together
flour, soda, cloves and cinnamon. Then mix together. Chill dough;
roll into balls. Dip tops in sugar; place sugar side up 3 inches
apart on cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 375 degrees. Randy
