Oat Apple Crumble

Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients and directions for this recipe

8 Dessert apples; peeled and
; quartered
6 ts Granulated unrefined sugar
8 tb Wholemeal flour
4 tb Rolled oats
4 tb Low fat spread
4 ts Granulated unrefined sugar;
-(for crumble
; topping)

Poach the apples in just enough water to wet them with the sugar over a low
heat. When they are soft, place them in an ovenproof dish. Rub the flour,
oats spread and sugar together to make a mixture which resembles
breadcrumbs. Use this to cover the apples.

Bake in the oven at 190?C/375?F/gas mark 5 for about 20 minutes, or until
the top is crisp.
