I was "surfing the net" a couple of weeks ago and followed link after link.
I found some bread recipes that I printed out. I swear I have no idea where
I was nor do I have any idea how to get back there. However, here is one
really good recipe. My apologies to the "owner".... See my personal notes
at the end.
1. Place in the breadmaker basket in the order given: flour, oatmeal, dry
milk, salt, sugar, margerine.
2. Add the egg, water, and cheese.
3. Place yeast in yeast dispenser.
4. Select sandwich mode. Start machine. Takes 4 hours.
Personal notes: I adapted the recipe to fit my Panasonic machine. My family
really loved this bread. It is a little denser than regular bread, and it
was absolutely perfect for toast and grilled sandwiches. After it cooled
well, I was able to make some really thin slices, which my daughter loves.
I gave half of the loaf to my neighbors (who supply me with bounty from
their garden) and they gave it two thumbs up.
