O'henry Slices

Yield: 2 servings

Ingredients and directions for this recipe

1 c Brown sugar 1 c Walnuts
1/2 c Butter or margarine 1 c Coconute
1/2 c Milk 1/2 c Cut cherries
1 c Crushed wafers

Boil the brown sugar, margarine and milk. Take off heat and quickly
add the last four ingredients. Pour mixture over 8x8 pan lined with
whole wafers. Place more whole wafers of top. Press down gently.
Frost with melted caramels if desired. Origin: My recipe file Shared
