Pasta With Ivory Sauce
Yield: 2 Servings
Ingredients and directions for this recipe
2 c Ivory sauce
1 c Thawed frozen "mixed
-vegetables"
1 c Canned black eyed peas,
-drained and rinsed
A few sun-dried tomatoes
-packed in oil
1 tb Sliced scallion
1/2 c Grated Pecorino cheese
Salt and pepper
8 oz Cooked dry pasta, short
-shape
Bring Ivory sauce to a boil. Add vegetables and peas and bring to a simmer.
Pat dry sun-dried tomatoes and cut into slivers. Add to sauce with
scallions. Stir in half of cheese; reserve other half for garnish.
Spoon sauce over pasta and garnish with cheese.
Yield: 2 servings
