Sophie's Favorite Cabbage

Yield: 8 servings

Ingredients and directions for this recipe

1 Head cabbage -- sliced
4 sl Bacon -- chopped
1/4 c Honey
1/2 c Cider vinegar
1 Chicken bouillon cube
1 c Water
1/4 ts Ground cloves
1/4 ts Caraway seed

Saute the bacon until cooked. Add the remaining ingredients and cook,
covered, until cabbage begins to turn soft. Bring to a boil, then
reduce heat and simmer, covered, for about an hour and 15 minutes.
