Spinach Rice
Yield: 1 Servings
Ingredients and directions for this recipe
2 c Spinach, chopped
2 c Water
1 c Long grained rice
1 md Tomato, chopped
1 md Onion chopped
1 ts Cumin seeds
1 ts Criander powder
2 Green chillies chopped fine
1 Spray of pam
1 Saute liquid
Saute cumin seeds and chopped green chillies. Add onion and fry till
it turns brown. Add tomatoes and fry well. Turn in the spinach and
saute for two mts. Cover cook for five mts on low heat. Wash the rice
and add to spinach mixture. Add salt,stir. Add coriander powder,stir
well. Add water, bring to boil. Cook for ten mts. on medium heat.
Cook till done on low heat.
