Swiss Chard Saute
Yield: 1 servings
Ingredients and directions for this recipe
2 c Cooked swiss chard; (2 to 3)
1 tb Olive oil; (1 to 2)
1 sm Clov garlic; crushed and
-minced
1 sm Onion; diced
1/4 ts Salt
1/4 ts Pepper
Crumbled cooked sausage and
-diced
; potatoes are optional
Heat olive oil on medium heat and saute onions and garlic till onions are
glassy. Add chopped swiss chard and stir-fry till coated with olive oil,
garlic and onions. Add salt and pepper. (Then add sausage and potatoes if
desired). Turn to low heat and stir-fry or saute till greens are soft and
pliable. Serve as a side dish or as a main entree with sausage and potato
ingredients. Very tasty and nutritious. Serves 2-4
