Tabasco Jelly
Yield: 1 batch
Ingredients and directions for this recipe
3 c Sugar 6 tb Tabasco sauce
1 c Water 1/3 c -plus
1/3 c Lemon juice 1 tb Liquid pectin
4 tb -up to Red food coloring; optional
In a heavy saucepan, combine the sugar, water, lemon juice and Tabasco
sauce, bringing to a boil over medium heat. Add liquid pectin. Allow
to come to a boil; boil for 1 minutes. Add food coloring, if
desired. (The food coloring helps make a prettier jelly.) Pour into
sterilized jars.
