The Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookies

Yield: 15 Servings

Ingredients and directions for this recipe

3/4 c Butter flavored crisco
1 1/4 c Packed brown sugar
2 tb Milk
1 tb Vanilla
1 Egg
1 3/4 c Flour
1 ts Salt
3/4 ts Baking soda
12 oz Chocolate chips

Heat oven to 375 deg f. Combine crisco, brown sugar, milk and vanilla
in a large bowl. Beat at medium speed until creamy. Beat egg into
creamed mixture. Combine flour, soda and salt and mix into creamed
mixture until just blended. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop dough by
rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 8 to 10
minutes for chewy cookies or 11 to 13 minutes for crisp cookies. Cool
on baking sheet for 2 minutes. Remove to wire rack. Makes 3 dozen 3
inch diameter cookies.
